| This was my first new grad job and so happy it was! Very fast paced and lots of learning opportunities. Super busy which got tiring over time. Easy to burn out. However, staff and management is great. Lots of nurses have been there 10+ years and the managers worked on the floor for years and years before moving up. Friendly people all around. Trauma bonded for sure! Made my life long friends here and had a hard time leaving - just wanted to travel. Stressful and high risk but had support. Main issue on nights was only having one scrub tech most of the time even when we ran multiple cases. As charge I would have to scrub and be pulled off the floor some nights. Busy triage as well. About 450-550 deliveries a month. Definitely taught me work ethic and how to manage time and stress. Good doctors and hospitalists and anesthesia staff as well. Great place if youβre willing to work hard! |
