Small hospital setting in town of approx 40,000, cerner computer system, very cliquey staff environment. Lots of green nurses even majority of the charge nurses. New director is also green especially in director setting. At times can have lots of favoritism in the environment and many who are do little or have to be pushed to work but not often done by the charge team. Tech wise a few work very hard and anticipate needs. But some of them are also in the cliques and get by with sitting and doing absolutely nothing at all. Overall workload is bearable but could be better environment if all were given similar expectations with less favoritism/cliques.
